The Quality Control (QC) Associate plays a key role in maintaining product integrity across all inbound and outbound goods. This role is responsible for inspecting, categorizing, and processing pallets to ensure they meet company quality standards. The QC Associate ensures accurate reporting, supports inventory accuracy, and helps drive continuous improvement within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy, and a mindset focused on safety and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and process all inbound pallets daily according to QC workflow and quality procedures.
- Verify product labeling, documentation, and compliance with company and industry standards.
- Organize and place QC-cleared pallets into the correct racks or designated storage areas by the end of each shift.
- Create and submit detailed daily QC summaries prior to the next shift.
- Identify damaged or non-conforming goods and escalate issues per established protocols.
- Support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring quality issues.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of policies, safety standards, and SOPs.
- Complete all assigned training, maintaining certification for safety equipment and quality processes.
- Operate pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with Inventory, Receiving, and Shipping teams to ensure smooth workflow and alignment.
Requirements:
- Experience in a warehouse, QC, inventory, or logistics environment preferred.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow structured workflows and documentation standards.
- Comfortable operating warehouse tools and equipment (training provided).
- Ability to lift and handle products up to 150 lbs as needed.
- Reliability, consistency, and a strong work ethic.
