Location: Newark, New York (Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 5x8-Hour Shifts (40 hours/week)
Shift: Day Shift (06:00 AM – 2:00 PM)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Traveler Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents in a long-term care (LTC) setting. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, high-quality care while assisting residents with daily activities and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support patient mobility, transfers, and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries.
• Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations).
• Assist with feeding, hydration, and monitor dietary intake.
• Observe and report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain infection control standards, including proper use of PPE and hand hygiene.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience required.
• Ability to work in a long-term care setting with a patient-focused approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required

Certifications

• Active CNA License (New York)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
