## **Immediate Need: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) x2**
ProCare Therapy is actively seeking **two dedicated Occupational Therapists (OTs)** to support **K–12 students** within a Virginia school district. These are **school-based opportunities for the upcoming school year**, and the district is looking to move quickly to secure strong candidates. ### **Position Overview**
The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students in developing, recovering, and improving the functional skills needed to succeed in the school environment.
### **Key Responsibilities**
* Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
* Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
* Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families
* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state requirements
* Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
* Support students with fine motor, sensory processing, and functional independence needs
### **Qualifications**
* Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
* Active Virginia OT license, or ability to obtain prior to start
* NBCOT certification required
* Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
* Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
### **Schedule**
* Full-time schedule
* Approx. **37.5 hours per week**
* Follows the school district calendar, including holidays and breaks
