Salary: $110,000 – $125,000 + Bonus
Hybrid | 2 days onsite in Woodbridge (Tuesdays & Thursdays), M/W/F remote | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

The Opportunity

As Finance Manager, you will act as both a strategic partner and operational leader, helping guide the organization through continued expansion. You will oversee core financial operations while also driving process improvements, system implementations, and scalable financial strategies.

This role is perfect for someone who can create clarity in ambiguity, lead through change, and bring structure to evolving environments.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10 accounting and finance professionals across remote and onsite environments
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Financial Operations & Oversight

  • Oversee accounting, budgeting, reporting, audits, and compliance
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant financial statements
  • Strengthen internal controls and financial integrity

Systems, Process Improvement & Analytics

  • Drive system implementations and process redesigns to support growth
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology for efficiency and scalability
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and performance metrics to support decision-making
  • Research and resolve complex accounting issues

Strategic Partnership

  • Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams nationwide
  • Provide clear, actionable financial insights to guide business decisions
  • Support expansion efforts, new locations, and long-term financial planning
  • Partner with external auditors and financial stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience
  • Experience managing both remote and onsite teams
  • Proven success in process improvement, system implementation, or change management
  • Strong technical skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred:

  • CPA
  • Experience with Sage Intacct
  • Background in nonprofit or multi-location organizations
