What Youll Do:
- Take charge of accounts payable and receivables for hotels in our accounting service portfolio
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts for all hotels
- Assist with cash reviews and provide oversight to keep everything running smoothly
- Discover and report financial discrepancies
- Prepare and file monthly sales and personal property tax returns
- Keep a watchful eye on company expenses and submit monthly payments
- Prepare monthly depreciation schedules
- Handle bi-weekly payroll entry and verify payroll for hotels
- Prepare, reconcile and report monthly and yearly financials
- Prepare year end 1099s
- Assist with annual budgeting
- Team up with our CPA for end-of-year books and annual tax filings
- Jump in to assist with other tasks whenever needed
What Youll Bring:
- Top-notch organizational, problem-solving, adaptability, and time management skills
- Solid knowledge of basic accounting and banking practices
- Experience with accounting software, and able to learn a new system
- A love for working with numbers and details
