Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A middle school special education teaching opportunity is available for the current school year through June 2026. This full-time, contract position offers 32 to 37.5 hours per week working with a middle school caseload. The role requires significant experience in behavior management, specifically working with students on the autism spectrum.
Key Qualifications:
- Certified Special Education Teacher with current licensure
- Proven experience managing behavioral challenges, particularly with autism
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
