Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Dedicated Aide to support our educational team in a charter school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with disabilities, and possess strong communication skills. This role is crucial in fostering a positive learning environment and assisting educators in delivering effective instruction.
Duties:
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the needs of students.
- Provide support in behavior management strategies to promote a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Work closely with students with disabilities, ensuring their individual needs are met and facilitating their participation in classroom activities.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to enhance the educational experience.
- Assist in teaching basic concepts and other subjects as required.
- Supervise children during school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Skills:
- Experience in private school settings is preferred.
- Strong behavior management skills to effectively support students' needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals with disabilities and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students and staff.
- Background in tutoring experience is beneficial.
- Passion for educating children and fostering their development through engaging activities.
