Job Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic intervention following treatment plan established by Physical Therapist
- Promote independence in the home setting through therapeutic intervention and modify treatment plan as needed
- Educate patients, families, caregivers regarding home exercise program, safety, falls prevention
- Supervise assistants as needed
- Communicate effectively with all team members
- Maintain patient records in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy to ensure quality standard of care.
Education
- Associates Degree Physical Therapist Assistant
Required Certification
- California Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Current drivers license
- Automobile insurance
- Current CPR/BLS-Healthcare Provider
- Current Physical/TB
