Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, particularly in fine dining and nightlife settings. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional experiences for our guests through outstanding service, expertly crafted beverages, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent customer service, taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry, payment processing, and inventory management.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests at the bar or dining area.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed to maintain bar operations.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new beverage trends, menu changes, and service techniques.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and alcohol serving regulations.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage guests positively.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation methods is a plus.
