Job Description
We are seeking an energized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, planning, and executing a wide range of events that not only align with our company vision but also resonate with our target audience. This position requires a mix of creativity and organizational skills, as you will be responsible for managing all aspects of events, from the initial planning stages to the day-of execution.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute a variety of events including conferences, corporate meetings, and social gatherings.
- Coordinate all logistical aspects, such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.
- Manage event budgets and ensure financial accountability throughout the planning process.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events and maximize attendance.
- Develop timelines and ensure that event milestones are met in a timely manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendors and venues, negotiating contracts and agreements as necessary.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event coordination or project management, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, based on event schedules.
