Job Summary
We are seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team! We would like someone with experience programming, setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes. You would be working with other machinists and operators to produce machined parts according to customer requirements. You would need to be familiar with reading drawings and have a knowledge of CAD/CAM. There is also a need to be proficient with the use of CNC machining centers and able to program at the machine controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs for production runs
• Analyze drawings to determine dimensions and choose cutting tools, machine speed and feed rates
• Modify existing programs for different machines
• Make manual program adjustments as necessary
• Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process
• Communicate with others and direct operators in machining application

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as CNC Machinist/Programmer
• Comfortable with using FeatureCam or MasterCam
• The ability to read drawings and dimension parts
• The ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
