Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Burbank, CA 91505

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Burbank, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (06:30 - 15:00). On-call requirements include 4-6 calls per 6-week period; call shifts Monday-Friday 23:00-07:00 and Saturday-Sunday 07:00-19:00 or 19:00-07:00. Weekend requirements limited to call shift coverage only.

• 13-week travel assignment at a 392-bed acute care hospital
• 1:1 patient ratio providing excellent hands-on surgical experience
• Daily census of 20-40 patients across 15 operating rooms
• Diverse case mix including orthopedic, general surgery, thoracic, urologic, and laparoscopic procedures

• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• LA fire card within the last 30 days required
• Proficiency in broad range of surgical procedures including orthopedic/spine, general surgery, thoracic, and urologic cases
• Competency in cell saver, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling, and blood product administration
• Availability for on-call rotation and potential float to other facilities within California
