A unique nursing opportunity awaits skilled registered nurses ready to leverage their expertise across multiple acute care settings. This contract role, based in Rathdrum, ID, offers the chance to work within a hospital-wide Nursing Resource Team that provides critical staffing support to various specialized units including Emergency Room, ICU, Progressive Care Unit, Medical Surgical, and Behavioral Health (adult acute, youth acute, addiction recovery).

Candidates must bring a minimum of three years of comprehensive nursing experience spanning all of these areas, demonstrating adaptability and a strong foundation in diverse patient care environments. Proficiency with cardiac drips and non-invasive ventilation is essential, alongside current certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Licensed RNs holding a State of Idaho or compact nursing license are required. Additional training such as Restraint C and MOAB will be provided during onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care across multiple units, with flexibility to float as patient volume demands.
• Employ effective time management and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications, perform patient assessments, and assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and self-management techniques.
• Comply with established nursing standards, hospital policies, and the Idaho Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program (BSN highly preferred).
• At least 3 years recent experience covering ER, ICU, PCU, Med Surg, and Behavioral Health (adult/youth/addiction recovery).
• Skilled in cardiac drip management and non-invasive ventilation.
• Current Idaho or compact RN license.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
• Willingness and ability to float between multiple units and adapt to varied care environments.

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts, day (07:0019:30) or night (19:0007:30), with rotation dependent on unit needs.
• Every other weekend required.
