Job Description

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Houston TX! This is a 2 months contract role (with high possibility of extension) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.


Role: Phlebotomist II (part-time or full time)

Locations: 9230 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77055


Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM


Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP


Pay Highlights: $19 - 22.50/hour (Based on years of experience)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality venipuncture, capillary, and specimen collection procedures, including pediatric and geriatric draws.
  • Prepare, process, and label specimens accurately according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Verify patient identity and demographic information; ensure tubes are properly labeled in the patient’s presence.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for specimen collection and processing.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and professional environment for patients.
  • Uphold company standards regarding confidentiality, safety, and professional conduct.
  • Support multiple Patient Service Centers or in-office phlebotomy locations as needed with minimal notice.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, including dress code, health & safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.


Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.


Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.


*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
