The Shipping Associate is responsible for managing the outbound flow of goods, ensuring that products are accurately prepared, packed, documented, and dispatched on time. They work closely with warehouse staff, logistics teams, and customer service to maintain accurate inventory records and facilitate efficient order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Pull, pack, and seal orders, ensuring items match shipping orders.
- Prepare essential shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
- Label packages with necessary information and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Schedule carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight trucks) for pickups and manage shipping schedules.
- Organize inventory, report damages or discrepancies to management, and maintain accurate records of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols, including operating forklifts or pallet jacks.
Essential Skills
- Experience in inventory, shipping and receiving, picking, order pulling, loading, forklift operation, unloading, and general labor.
- Proficiency in inventory control and using a tape measure.
- Previous experience (1–3 years) in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Proficiency with basic computer skills.
- Physical strength to stand for long periods and lift heavy packages (often up to 50–75 lbs).
- Attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proven track record in order fulfillment and logistics coordination.
- Experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
