Third Party Administrator is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to work in fast-paced Lansing, Michigan office. Ideal candidate will be a team player with ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Position requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with willingness and ability to meet deadlines. Successful candidate must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Pdf), Outlook, and Zoom.
Position entails transcribing, distributing, and filing meeting minutes. Coordinates scheduling of Zoom meetings. Sends out mail on behalf of management. Issues checks and runs check registers for positive pay. Distributes financial statements and helps process month end funding of Administrative/Benefit accounts. Makes roster changes and distributes to Trustees and Professionals. Oversees Annual Compliance process. Requests Summary Annual Reports, obtains approval and distributes. Handles the scheduling of file pickups from offsite storage. Formats Summary Plan Description Booklets and obtains quotes for printing. Assists with administration of Trustee appointments and signatories as well as distributes Summary of Material Modifications, Reference materials, Important Notices, etc.
Performs general office duties including scanning, filing, general correspondence, and other duties as assigned including back up to other Administrative Assistants as needed. Must have working knowledge of copying/scanning/faxing machines.
