Allegiance Staffing is hiring Parking Attendants for the upcoming Kentucky Derby events! This is a great opportunity to be part of one of Louisville’s biggest events while earning competitive pay.
Pay Rate: $19.00/hourEvent Dates: Saturday, April 25th – Saturday, May 2nd, 2026
Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to event guests
• Direct and manage vehicle traffic and parking flow
• Assist with pedestrian/foot traffic control to ensure safety and organization
• Support shuttle operations as needed
• Offer directions, manage customer lines, and provide general event information
• Monitor assigned areas and report any concerns to the On-Duty Supervisor
• Communicate effectively using a cell phone or two-way radio

Qualifications

• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow directions
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-traffic or fast-paced situations
• Comfortable using basic technology (phones, radios, apps)

Working Conditions

• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout shifts
• Ability to lift, push, and pull as needed
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead
• May assist with pushing passengers in wheelchairs

This is a temporary, event-based position with long hours available during Derby week.
