SLP Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnoseand treat speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders in K-5 students with mild to severe disabilities.
- Utilize AAC devices and other assistive technology mechanisms.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide direct therapy services both individually andin small groups.
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records.
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinationsand Response to Intervention (RTI) processes.
Qualifications:
- Required: Kanas SLP License orBachelor's in Communication Sciences & Disorders (SLPAs)
- Required: Ability to work onsite part-time or full-time
- Required: Ability to commute
- Preferred: Previous school-based experience
