Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgery
- Prepare operating room and equipment for safe surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
- Maintain sterile technique and operating room protocols
- Document nursing care and patient responses accurately and timely
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid RN licensure with Operating Room experience
- Current certifications as required by facility standards prior to start
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
- Must pass a drug screening and complete required background forms
Contract Details:
- Contract position with bi-weekly Tuesday orientations
- Candidates residing 60 miles or more from the facility are encouraged to apply
- Travel capability required for accepted candidates
