We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team in a job shop environment where all products are designed to order. This role involves operating roll formers, saws, and plasma tables to fabricate and build various products according to specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in sheet metal fabrication techniques and methods, including shearing, rolling, sawing, plasma cutting, punching, and forming metals. The ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions is essential.
Responsibilities
- Operate roll formers, saws, and plasma tables to manufacture products.
- Perform fabrication and building functions according to product specifications.
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions to execute necessary tasks.
- Utilize sheet metal fabrication techniques, such as shearing, rolling, sawing, plasma cutting, punching, and forming.
- Cut and shape metals to prepare them for welding.
- Adapt to other duties as assigned within the job shop environment.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and project plans.
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication and machine operation.
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques such as shearing, rolling, sawing, plasma cutting, punching, and forming.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with sheet metal is required.

Work Environment
Join a well-equipped welding and fabrication shop with 20 welding bays, where each employee receives their own booth station. The facility is equipped with new machines replacing older fabrication equipment and features a brand new ventilation system that exchanges air every 6 minutes, ensuring a clean and dust-free atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Prior Lake, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
