We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in restaurant management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires a blend of leadership, culinary knowledge, and operational expertise to maintain high standards of service and efficiency.
Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to foster a skilled and motivated team.
- Implement effective training programs for kitchen management and customer service.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes to maintain stock availability.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the restaurant's offerings.
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation in collaboration with the culinary team.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Prepare reports on restaurant performance, including sales trends and staff productivity.
- Manage online ordering done through Doordash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, EZCater, and other online ordering platforms.
- Manage cash receipts and weekly deposits to bank after closing.
- Create engaging, regular social media posts on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, if experienced in social media marketing.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management with experience in quick service fast food restaurant environments.
- Proficient in kitchen management practices, ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
- Ability to develop effective training development programs for staff at all levels.
- Skilled in interviewing techniques to select the best candidates for various positions within the restaurant.
- A solid understanding of culinary principles to collaborate effectively with chefs and kitchen staff.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team towards common goals.
- Experience as an assistant manager is a plus, demonstrating readiness for increased responsibilities.
