Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license required
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs
- Familiarity with early childhood development and interventions
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to preschool students, focusing on improving daily living, motor, and sensory skills
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments
- Document therapy sessions, interventions, and student progress in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise for the development of individualized education plans
- Adapt OT strategies and materials to fit each child’s unique needs
