Position Overview
As a Travel Nurse in Salem, Virginia, you will work 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week assignment. Bring your expertise and compassion to a fast-paced environment where every day is a new challenge!
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology.
- Perform critical assessments and manage patient care effectively.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Active VA RN License
- Minimum of 2 years of ER experience
- Proficient in IV skills, EKG, and patient assessments
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Experience in a Freestanding ED setting is a plus!
- Ability to independently mix pharmacy drugs such as Tpa and KCentra is preferred.
Working Conditions
- Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend shifts required (3 weekends per 4-week schedule)
