Position Overview:Registered Nurse (RN) – Neurology | Weekend Option
Location: Our Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128
Schedule: Weekend Option (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) | Full-Time | 36 hours/week
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Weekend Option Differential: Receive an additional $20/hour for all hours worked from Friday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM.
Sign-On Bonus:
- Experienced Nurses: Up to $10,000
- New Graduate Nurses (less than 1 year of experience): Up to $5,000
Role Summary
The Registered Nurse will employ the nursing process to deliver patient care. You will be accountable for the care provided to your assigned patients and will assess the effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers. Collaboration with various departments to coordinate patient care is essential. You will uphold patient rights and maintain confidentiality regarding patient information, performing all duties in alignment with our mission, values, and service standards.
Qualifications
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with one of the following:
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licensure: A current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri is required, or compact licensure in accordance with state nursing board regulations.
Experience: Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred and may be necessary based on the unit.
Certifications:
- Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: BSN is preferred
- Licensure: Additional state licenses or specialty certifications are preferred
- Experience: Prior experience in a specialty area or similar clinical environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
- Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to perform nursing duties
