Dental Receptionist—Part Time
We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented **Dental Receptionist** to join our busy practice in Lake Barrington. As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring the smooth flow of front desk operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong organizational skills.
Part-time schedule Tuesday through Friday
Pay: $22 to $25/hr MUST have previous Dental office experience
What You’ll Do
- Welcome patients and manage check-in/check-out with warmth and efficiency
- Schedule and confirm appointments to keep the office running smoothly
- Maintain accurate patient records, including insurance and medical history
- Use dental software for scheduling, billing, and patient management
- Answer questions about treatments, services, and office policies
- Process payments and assist with insurance claims
- Keep the reception area tidy, professional, and inviting
- Work closely with the dental team to support excellent patient care
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist REQUIRED
- Proficiency with dental software strongly desired
- Knowledge of dental terminology required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm and professional in a busy office setting
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient service
