Position Overview:

Burkes Tree Service is looking for a reliable and experienced Log Truck Driver with a CDL A or B license to join our growing team. In this role, youll play a key part in our tree care operations by safely transporting logs and debris from job sites to designated drop-off or disposal locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a log truck to transport logs, brush, and debris from job sites
• Load and secure materials according to DOT regulations and company standards
• Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles
• Assist the crew with site cleanup, equipment handling, and logistics as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws during transport
• Communicate clearly with your crew and dispatch to coordinate pickups and deliveries

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid CDL A or B license (required)
• Experience operating log trucks or similar commercial vehicles
• Knowledge of proper loading, strapping, and hauling techniques
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong focus on safety and teamwork
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
