Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunity available for a dedicated bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about making a difference in the school setting. Support students across K-9th grade, primarily serving those in sixth grade and below, for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, working with a mild to moderate caseload.

You’ll work closely with a supportive team and share office space with the case manager, using Embrace IEP software. Serve 14 students on IEPs directly, and consult for an additional nine. Your bilingual expertise will be invaluable in communicating with families and students in both English and Spanish.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech-language services
  • CCC-SLP or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
  • Familiarity with IEP process and documentation, especially using Embrace software, is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively and professionally in shared spaces

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students with varying needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and the case manager for comprehensive student support
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records using Embrace
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive educational environment
