Parts Specialist

Atlanta, GA 30354 (Hybrid)
Position overview:
- The High Voltage (HV) Battery Parts Specialist is responsible for the management, coordination, and optimization of parts and component supply chain related to high voltage batteries and components.
- The Specialist will work alongside Client’s Cars N.A. (Food and Beverage Client) and Client’s AG (PAG) Parts Support.
- The Specialist is a key member of the High Voltage center of competency to ensure stabile availability with transparency into the supply chain, which supports a highly effective repair process in the market.
Roles & responsibilities
The primary functions of this role are:
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of high voltage battery components.
- Utilize inventory control systems to track part usage and stock levels.
- Coordinate with planners and materials management team to ensure proactive stock planning and delivery of parts to Client’s Centers and 3rd party vendors
Collaboration and Communication:
- Prepare reports and regular status communications on parts usage, costs, and performance.
- Work closely with E-performance team to understand part requirements for repair processes
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to coordinate parts stocking and logistics.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.
- Manage to relevant KPI’s specific to parts stocking and fulfilment, ensuring high level of service and accountability.
- Flexible to market needs with a high degree of curiosity, always looking to improve process, workflow, which lead to a high level of service to our franchise dealer partners.
- Additional duties as assigned by Material Manager
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Business Management, Supply Chain, or Data Analytics.
- Relevant equivalent education and experience may be considered
- Certifications in supply chain management, inventory control, or a related field are preferred.
Experience:
- 2+ years automotive experience, preferably in an AfterSales, field, or retail capacity
- Materials management, supply chain, and or warehouse/distribution experience
- Experience with inventory management systems and procurement processes is preferred
Skills and competencies:
- Analytics, using Microsoft Office Suite of products (Excel) and ability to simplify data outcome to tell a story in presentation form (PPT)
- Excellent technical knowledge of automobiles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using OEM industry standard inventory management software
- Customer focus and ability to advocate for Client’s dealers in the resolution of issues
- An entrepreneurial spirit that creatively solves problems and delivers solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, spelling, grammar, and composition skills.
- Professional, pleasant customer service oriented phone manners.
Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
