Context Global seeks motivated hearing ASL interpreters to work as flex-time freelance interpreters.

Responsibilities:

ASL Interpreting:

- Provide effective communication facilitation between multiple parties, working to and from ASL and English

- Understand cultural and linguistic differences between communities and respond accordingly

Expectations:

- Submit time sheets, invoices, and paperwork on time and as required

- Superior interpersonal skills

- Adhere to the RID Code of Professional Conduct

Requirements:

- Fluency in American Sign Language and English Voicing

- Bachelors degree in a related field, or lower degree with experience

- Strong involvement in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community

- Self-motivated and well organized
