Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and active RCIS/RCES, BLS, and ACLS certifications for a Level 1 trauma acute care setting.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a cardiac catheterization lab in an acute care, Level 1 trauma environment
  • Department includes 2 cath labs, 2 electrophysiology labs, and 1 hybrid suite
  • Average of 10-20 procedures per day involving STEMI, cardiogenic shock, CAD, PAD, and atrial arrhythmia patients
  • Schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts with call requirements
  • Call required 1-2 weeknights and 2 weekends per 6 week cycle, with a 30-minute response time
  • Floating is required within department
  • Uses Epic EMR; experience with Epic preferred
  • Department specific orientation provided
  • Assist in scrub, monitoring, and circulating roles for all department procedures
  • Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
  • Team members expected to participate in call and holiday rotation
  • Scrub color or department-specific dress code required
  • Permanent employees of CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year are not eligible
  • Candidates must be available in-state for the week of orientation, even if some modules are remote

\n \n Requirements\n

  • Minimum 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience required
  • Active RCIS or RCES via CCI required
  • Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
  • Active state or Compact (NLC) license required if applicable
  • Solid STEMI and cardiovascular lab technical skills required
  • Driver's license must be submitted for consideration
  • Two professional references required, including one supervisor from the past year and one peer or supervisor from the past three years
