Now Hiring: Home Health RN – Aspirus at Home | Hancock, MI
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 7/7
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Location: Aspirus at Home – Hancock, MI
Radius Rule: Candidates must live 50+ miles from the facility (rule expires 6/6)
Schedule Details:

Shift: 8-hour day shifts (approx. 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; flexible based on census)

Weekends/Holidays: Every 5th weekend & holiday rotation (subject to change based on staffing)

On-Call: Required every 5th weekend, with potential for increased coverage as needed
Travel Expectations:

Average of 5 patient visits/day, occasionally up to 6

Travel can vary by territory and staffing

Max travel: up to 150 miles/day (not typical for all days)
Requirements:

Licenses/Certifications:

Active Michigan RN License

AHA BLS Certification

Valid Driver’s License

Experience:
-
Minimum 2+ years of home health experience preferred
-
Strong OASIS documentation skills required

EPIC experience preferred
-
Key Responsibilities:
-
Complete OASIS admissions and follow-up visits
-
Manage episodes of care, coordinate with physicians
-
Perform clinical tasks: wound care, IVs, port access, lab draws, chronic disease management
-
Timely and accurate EMR documentation
