Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-12 school located in Citrus Heights, CA. This contract position covers the full school year and offers a flexible schedule to accommodate varying needs. The caseload includes students across all K-12 grade levels, supported by two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to enhance service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy services to a diverse K-12 student population.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate with SLPAs supporting the caseload.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or certification.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to manage a full or part-time caseload.
