Position Overview:
As a Bartender at Pinyon, you will be the face of our bar, creating handcrafted cocktails, serving beverages with flair, and delivering exceptional hospitality. You’ll thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency, professionalism, and a friendly, approachable demeanor. This role requires mixology skill, teamwork, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft cocktails and beverages accurately and efficiently according to Pinyon’s recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage guests with knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and wine pairings, providing recommendations when appropriate.
- Maintain bar organization and stock levels to ensure smooth service during high-volume periods.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of drinks and seamless guest experiences.
- Manage cash, tabs, and POS transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, tools, and glassware.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and alcohol service regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktails; mixology skills a must.
- Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; friendly, polished, and professional.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
