  • Design and develop electrical systems, including schematics, panels, enclosures, and cabling for industrial automation environments
  • Create detailed designs using CAD tools and produce complete documentation for manufacturing and assembly
  • Lead integration of PLC-based control systems, industrial networks, and safety components
  • Collaborate with software teams to support PLC programming, diagnostics, and system functionality
  • Ensure designs meet safety, reliability, and cost-efficiency standards
  • Support system commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
  • Provide technical guidance during system assembly and installation
  • Work cross-functionally with mechanical, software, and operations teams to resolve complex system challenges
  • Evaluate new technologies, tools, and components to continuously improve system design capabilities
  • Partner with vendors to source and validate electrical components and solutions
  • Provide technical support and training to internal teams as needed

RequirementsQualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in industrial automation or system integration
  • Strong experience designing and integrating PLC-based control systems
  • Proven ability to integrate complex industrial equipment, electrical systems, and safety components
  • Proficiency in electrical design tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of electrical panels, enclosures, cabling, and assembly processes
  • Experience working with industrial communication protocols and Ethernet-based systems
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and debugging experience in live environments
  • Experience working with vendors and component selection
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with robotics and automated manufacturing systems
  • Familiarity with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and diagnostic tools
  • Exposure to high-throughput production or fulfillment environments
