Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role is essential in supporting students aged Pre-K through 22, particularly focusing on those with severe communication disorders.

Qualifications:

  • Active DC Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working with school-aged populations, particularly in special education
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with identified needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student outcomes
  • Deliver professional development workshops for staff on communication disorders
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student care
