Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Licensed California Radiologic Technologist is needed to provide comprehensive imaging services at a small rural healthcare facility. This contract opportunity is based in Shasta Lake, CA, and requires proficiency in radiologic imaging across multiple modalities including radiology and CT. Operating under the supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Manager, this role demands adherence to all federal and state regulatory standards, especially those governing Critical Access hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures per physician orders with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate expertise in patient positioning and equipment operation to ensure high-quality images.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety standards, infection control, and confidentiality regulations.
  • Assist with patient scheduling, phone response, and department organization.
  • Respond efficiently to equipment malfunctions and emergency situations.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) efforts and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and participate in call rotations as required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology program with an Associate of Science degree.
  • Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification preferred.
  • Minimum two years acute care experience preferred, or equivalent experience in diagnostic imaging facilities.
  • Experience in at least two imaging modalities.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
