Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support early childhood students in an elementary school setting in Wilkes Barre, PA. This full-time, contract position runs from March 1, 2026, to June 5, 2026, and involves conducting approximately 130 evaluations for 4- to 5-year-old children. The role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional experienced in delivering speech-language services in school environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations for early childhood students
  • Collaborate with educational staff to assess and support student communication needs
  • Document findings clearly and maintain compliance with school-based SLP standards
  • Support individualized education plans (IEPs) and contribute to team meetings
  • Manage a caseload efficiently within the contract timeframe

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working in schools, preferably with early childhood populations
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language development
  • Ability to manage multiple evaluations while maintaining high-quality documentation
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
