Landscape Senior Technician

We are hiring a Landscape Senior Technician to work closely with the Landscape Foreman to oversee and manage landscape and pool projects.
Job Overview:
The Landscape Senior Technician will work closely with the Landscape Foreman to complete all landscape tasks on budget and on time. They will be required to effectively follow directives form the Foreman, ensure the highest job quality, communicate with customers and management staff effectively, and delegate tasks to crew members.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Communicate clearly and consistently with clients, Red Leaf staff, and fellow crew members.
- Read and follow job site plans, work orders and material lists.
- Conform with all directives, policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Install plants, trees and shrubs.
- Install sod/grass.
- Complete irrigation installation and repairs, including timers/clocks.
- Install bark/mulch.
- Install pea gravel, rock and flagstone pathways.
- Installation and repair of low voltage landscape lighting.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience required in landscape construction.
- Initiative to handle daily tasks and issues.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Bi-lingual (English, Spanish) communication skills are preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Orientation toward teamwork and collaboration.
- Time management and personal accountability.
- Pride in quality of work and a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:
The ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds, the ability to stoop, crawl, kneel, bend at the neck and waist, twist at the neck and waist, grasp, use fine manipulation, reach above shoulder height, lift and stand for long periods of time, (up to 10 hours per day), the ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold, walk on uneven ground in dusty and dirty conditions.
You may be required to work overtime, irregular or varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $20 - $30/hour, based on experience and qualifications
