At Monte Nido Eating Disorder Center, we are dedicated to saving lives and empowering individuals to embrace their healthiest selves. Our primary eating disorder day treatment program is designed exclusively for adults seeking help with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Through our comprehensive partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programming, clients engage in both group and individual therapy, benefiting from our clinical, medical, psychiatric, and nutritional expertise.

Responsibilities

As a Primary Therapist, your role will include:

  • Providing individual, group, and family therapy
  • Acting as a liaison with families and outpatient providers
  • Interacting with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
  • Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
  • Offering therapeutic meal support while modeling a healthy relationship with food
  • Delivering safe, empathetic, and affirming care tailored to each client's unique circumstances

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Master’s degree in clinical counseling or a related discipline
  • State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
  • Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is a plus
  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
