Job DescriptionNursing Unit Manager We are looking for an exceptional full-time Nursing Unit Manager to become part of our team at a large senior living community located in Grand Junction, Colorado. Join a group of dedicated, intelligent, and compassionate professionals committed to providing our seniors with the quality of life they deserve.
The Nursing Unit Manager plays a vital role in supporting the clinical leadership team and managing the nursing department's overall operations. This position involves offering guidance, leadership, training, and supervision to over 50 clinical staff members who deliver care services to more than 80 long-term and short-term residents.

Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing and managing the daily operations of our clinical department.
- Participate in the hiring, training, and development of staff alongside the leadership team.
- Engage directly with residents to assess their needs and services, ensuring accurate communication and documentation of resident status in the electronic care system.
- Supervise aides, nurses, and other care staff, delegating nursing duties to unlicensed personnel as necessary.
- Fulfill additional leadership responsibilities as required.
- This position requires on-call availability.
Qualifications:
- Current RN or LPN license in the state.
- Experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, geriatric nursing, or dementia care.
- Proven ability to develop and implement service plans, medication management systems, infection control practices, and safety protocols.
- Strong skills in fostering teamwork, leadership, and responsiveness to residents' needs.
