An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in the Operating Room to provide exceptional perioperative care in a busy surgical unit. This contract position is located in Aurora, CO, supporting a well-equipped hospital known for its advanced surgical services and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room.
- Assist with a variety of surgical procedures including orthopedic, spine, robotic-assisted (Davinci), and laparoscopic surgeries.
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and documentation standards utilizing Meditech EMR.
- Adhere to unit protocols including dress code requirements (light blue scrubs provided onsite).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with current DORA license in hand prior to submission.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with orthopedic, spine, Davinci robotic, Mako, Globus, and laparoscopic procedures.
- Strong teamwork and collaborative communication skills well-suited for a multidisciplinary surgical team.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Stryker equipment used in surgical procedures.
- Previous work in a fast-paced operating room environment such as a hospital with 4 OR rooms plus endoscopy.
Schedule
- Day shift from 7 AM to 5 PM.
