Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide valuable services in a K-12 educational setting. Located in Williamsburg, VA, this contract position spans the full school year, offering a full-time workload. There are three openings available for qualified candidates.

Successful candidates may work in-person within the school or provide teletherapy services. Virtual SLPs should be comfortable supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). The position supports the entire K-12 student population, allowing practitioners to make a meaningful impact across diverse age groups.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct speech and language therapy services aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication development
  • Conducting assessments and progress monitoring
  • Providing supervision and guidance to SLPAs for virtual caseloads
  • Maintaining appropriate documentation and compliance with state and federal education regulations

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in school-based settings with K-12 students
  • Competence delivering teletherapy services and managing virtual caseloads
  • Ability to supervise SLPAs effectively
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
