We're seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to deliver prehensive mental health support, conduct assessments, and collaborate with educational teams to ensure student success in remote settings.
Position Overview This remote position offers 36 hours per week supporting students across elementary through high school grade levels. You'll manage a caseload of approximately 45-50 students while providing direct psychological services, crisis intervention, and consultation services through secure virtual platforms. Our prehensive approach includes individual counseling, group sessions, and collaborative support for students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct prehensive psychological evaluations and assessments via telehealth platforms
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students with emotional and behavioral challenges
- Provide direct counseling services to students through secure video conferencing
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student mental health
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute psychological insights to educational planning
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress monitoring for all student interactions
- Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate psychological support when needed
- Conduct parent consultations and provide resources for home-based support strategies
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
- Active School Psychologist licensure in Nevada
- Minimum 2 years of school-based experience
- Experience with virtual service delivery preferred
- Strong technology skills for remote assessment and intervention
- Excellent munication skills for virtual collaboration
- Knowledge of special education law and IEP processes
