Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts with weekend, holiday, and call requirements
\n• 13-week assignment duration
\n• On-call responsibilities required with 60-minute response time
\n• Must maintain 100-mile radius rule
\n• Current New York State RN license required
\n• Previous PACU experience required
\n• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
\n• Minimum one year medical/surgical experience preferred
\n• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
\n• Provide quality patient care and assess patient needs including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects
\n• Recognize safety issues and implement safe patient handling techniques using lifts
\n• Function effectively in stressful situations with strong problem-solving skills
\n• May assume charge nurse duties with leadership and delegation responsibilities
\n• Utilize clinical equipment and instrumentation in OR/ASU settings
\n• Demonstrate lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills
\n• Maintain excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
