We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Specialty Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Everett, WA area. This role supports a variety of pharmacy operations under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Pharmacy Technician (Onsite – Everett, WA)
Pay Rate: $26.00/hour
Schedule: Sunday 7am - 3:30pm Monday-Thursday 2pm - 10:30pm - Must be available for mandatory overtime which is regular and often up to 1 hour. Occasionally 2 hours the following a major US Holiday
License Required: Active/Current - Must have an active WA state Pharmacy License during the duration of the contract. Must have a PTCB National License to work past 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet service level requirements
- Pull and fill patient prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Accurately prepare medications for verification and timely delivery
- Package prescriptions with correct documentation and labeling
- Ensure paperwork is complete and accurate for each shipment
- Lift and move medications weighing up to 30 pounds
- Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Cross-train in various pharmacy functions
- Participate in team events and company initiatives
Qualifications:
- Must have an active WA state Pharmacy License during the duration of the contract. Must have a PTCB National License to work past 6 months (Required)
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting preferred (mail-order or retail)
- Ability to lift and handle up to 30 pounds of medications
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail
- Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
- Must be available for mandatory overtime which is regular and often up to 1 hour. Occasionally 2 hours the following a major US Holiday
