A full-time Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Milton Freewater, OR, serving the educational needs of students throughout the academic year. This contract role offers a dynamic opportunity to support speech and language development in a school environment, working directly with children from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Responsibilities include assisting speech-language pathologists in implementing therapy plans, conducting targeted speech and language interventions, documenting student progress, and collaborating with educators and families to promote effective communication skills. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to improving student outcomes in a school-based setting.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid Speech Language Pathology Assistant certification
• Experience working with children in a K-12 educational setting preferred
• Ability to follow individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a certified speech-language pathologist
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of speech and language development in children
