Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide specialized pre-kindergarten intake assessments and FMLA coverage in a San Francisco public school setting. This on-site role requires licensed professionals who can deliver comprehensive speech and language services within the school environment, supporting early childhood education and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-K intake speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Provide speech-language pathology services at Ortega Elementary during an FMLA leave coverage
  • Collaborate with educators and school teams to support individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and district policies
  • Deliver culturally and linguistically responsive services to a diverse student population

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid California State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (DCA)
  • Clear or Professional Speech Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) preferred but not required
  • Minimum of completed licensure; candidates in clinical fellowship phase will not be considered
  • Preference for fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or bilingual language skills strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working with pre-kindergarten students and school-based speech services

Location and Work Details:

  • Position located at San Francisco, California schools
  • Full-time contract through June 3, 2026
  • 40 hours per week, on-site work requiredno remote or virtual options available
