Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time role for a Dental Hygienist. The Hygienist will provide preventive dental care services, including dental cleanings, prophylaxis, and oral health assessments. Additional responsibilities include educating patients on maintaining good oral hygiene, assisting in managing periodontal disease, and collaborating with dental care teams to deliver high-quality care. The role also involves documenting patient care plans and supporting overall dental practice operations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Dental Care and Hygiene
- Proficiency in providing dental preventive care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Valid state license as a Dental Hygienist in Michigan
- Maintain CPR/BLS certification.
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program
- Familiarity with modern dental tools and technologies is advantageous
- Passion to work with the underserved population.
