RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 36/36 schedule with every other weekend coverage
\n• No call responsibilities
\n• Patient ratio of 1:7 for all shifts (days, nights, weekends)
\n• Float to other units when needed
\n• Care for adult patients in a 35-bed medical surgical telemetry unit
\n• 2 years of nursing experience required
\n• AHA BLS certification required
\n• Previous charge experience preferred
\n• First time travelers accepted
\n• Must live 100+ miles from the facility
\n• Epic charting system experience preferred
\n• 16 hours of non-billable orientation beginning on Sundays with online CBLs
\n• Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education
\n• Required skills include telemetry monitoring, IV management, medication administration, chest tube care, and various medical surgical procedures
\n• Interdisciplinary support available from physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
