Job Description
Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A local Concord school is hiring a Sign Language Interpreter to support a high school student on a full-time, 1:1 basis for the 20252026 school year. ASL instruction and interpreting will be provided in-person.

Hours: MondayFriday, 7:20 AM2:20 PM

Assignment: 1:1 with a high school student
Primary Responsibilities:

Interpret academic content and social interactions in ASL

Provide communication support across educational settings

Teach additional sign systems as required

Promote student access and engagement
Requirements:
-
Active ASL certification
-
High school diploma (minimum)
-
Experience in ASL and supplemental sign systems

Preferred RID certification or equivalent

Current New Hampshire interpreter licensing

School-based interpreting experience required
